Lovely, black & white, multiview postcard depicting various scenes including Madeira Drive, the Sunken Gardens, Swimming pool at Saltdean and the Paddling pool.

Posted and stamped with two green King George VI half penny stamps. Date stamped 7 August 1939 with postmark “Road Users Take Care Avoid Risks”. Written on with the following message:

Dear Mrs B, Hope you had a nice holiday. The weather is a bit better today, it poured all day Saturday, quite a lot of people here. Kind regards to all love P Thompson

Condition: used with some corner damage commensurate with age.
