LNER Flying Scotsman – Vintage Framed Postcard

Lovely, colour vintage Tuck’s postcard of the LNER Flying Scotsman, London to Edinburgh “The Worlds Oldest Train”. One of Tuck’s highly collectable Oilette Famous Expresses Series. Printed in the 1930s.

Beautifully presented in an ivory mount and framed in a contemporary black frame. The perfect nostalgic gift for train enthusiasts.

Stamped with a King George V, red, one penny stamp. Written on with the following message:

“Just a line to wish you a very happy feast and many happy returns of the day. The children & I arrived here this morning. It feels very queer being in London again. I prefer Mossford (?) Greetings from us all. L M Black.”

Postcard Condition: Posted some slight corner damage and small blemishes and postmark to the surface, less visible when framed.*
