Wishaw, Thur: 5.10.05 2pm. My Dear Fanny Maggon, Jim met me in Greenock y’day afternoon … of wind in to Dunoon for 4.43 Steamer. Lovely sail across. Very wet and stormy in the night: but grand again there. We left Bella & baby at Shawlands. Youngster getting on fine with her teething. I am hurrying to get back to Glasgow to catch 4.3 train for same steamer as y’day. Think I will stay in Glasgow tomorrow night & go to Edinburgh 11o’clock train Saturday forenoon. Next week will stay with Jim at Shawlands into ….. then travel to Dunoon again the following week. Monday … is the S.P.B.M.G annual meeting and expect Jack up there. They are all well at Dunoon & have been very kind to us. Maggie should drop Lizzie a letter to say how you are & thank her for her great kindness to me. Now don’t think of hurrying home. Trust you to get away as long as possible. E is coming … from Edinburgh which you will enjoy. Love to all
