Lovely colour, vintage postcard of Buttermere and Crummockwater. Beautifully mounted and framed in a contemporary grey frame. The perfect nostalgic gift for those who love the Lake District.
Posted in 1925 and stamped with a red, King George V, one penny stamp. Addressed to Mrs Hobden of Brighton and written on with the following message:
19.8.25 Dear Father & Mother, I have been to Rydal Park today to see the sheep dog trials & the hound trails. It is truly wonderful. Will tell you all about it later. When you write will you let me know which lake (?)….
